Workshop review 2009

7 April 2010

workshop dec 09 200Our workshop programme continues to go from strength to strength.  From September 2009, through to February of this year we have run around 12 workshops with 135 participants in attendance from a variety of backgrounds, ranging from local and central government to those in the construction and timber industry.  The winter workshops have been held in London, Birmingham, Portsmouth, Swansea, Cardiff, Newcastle, Portsmouth and Nottingham.  The response to the workshops has been very positive with the vast majority of delegates highly appreciative of the sessions.  To quote Nigel Doyle, Principal Procurement Officer for the City and County of Swansea, the workshop was, ‘All helpful and provided me with sufficient information for to prepare an action plan’.  Others found the materials to be particularly useful, as Elaine Glew, HR Manager at John Brash & co says; ‘...excellent supporting material that I was able to circulate on a wider basis within our organisation".

We have more London workshops coming up before the summer and soon we plan to confirm some regional dates for Autumn/Winter 2010.  We also expect to have an increasing demand for our ad hoc workshops as word spreads.   Check here for regular updates.  Remember that CPET workshops are free to attend for members of central government departments, non departmental bodies, publically funded bodies such as local authorities and universities and their suppliers and contractors.
