Awareness Raising

DEFRA and CPET are actively raising awareness of the step change UK timber procurement policy within the public and private sectors. CPET provides tailored presentations on the policy and how to comply with it. Full workshops are also available for public buyers and their suppliers. 

Local Authorities are also a specific focus for this year's activities. CPET, together with the Timber Trade Federation and WWF UK are actively encouraging and providing support to Local Authorities in developing a sustainable timber procurement policy.
